Annual "B" Involved Scholarship

We live in a time when selfies and tweets overrule class and dignity. Where words are mistaken for action…and where caring is replaced by self-promotion.bob1.jpg

None of that represents Bob Beaman in any way. He was one of 'Quiet Action', and like Bob himself a true contrast in terms. To him it wasn’t about getting your picture in the paper, or what award you could bring home, as the positive impact was never measured in material gains….especially his own.

Bob was a 'Madison Guy', living there his entire life. A 1975 grad from Madison High School, he never wavered in his support of his community as an active member of groups like the Madison Environmental Commission where he served for 7-years and helped create the Adopt-a-Park Program, Environmental Recycling, and the Anti-Idling efforts in town.bob2.jpg

So, in his honor TEF announces the formation of the Bob Beaman 'B-Involved' Annual Scholarship to be kicked-off on his 58th Birthday (July 28th). Currently a committee of Bob’s former Scouts & Venturers are developing the criteria and application. Rest assured that Community Service and Personal Character will play a major part.bob3.jpg

In the meantime donations are open, and can be sent through Team Eagle Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization which supports Youth Strategic Mentoring, and where Bob was a co-founder. - or - checks mailed to Team Eagle Foundation, 198 Kings Road, Madison, NJ 07940.

100% of all donations go towards the Scholarships.
